An experienced public relations, social media and marketing professional with a passion for storytelling, Robbin Mangano founded RPR in 2016.
As a savvy and effective publicist and social media strategist, Robbin has a proven track record for bringing a client's story to life, building buzz & awareness, and delivering meaningful results. Her strength in cultivating media relationship has enabled Robbin to secure media exposure for clients in top tier outlets nationwide, including the Associated Press, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, NBC's TODAY show, Good Morning America, Food & Wine, Hallmark's Home & Family, MarketWatch, People.com, PopSugar.com, Men's Journal, and more.
Robbin has expertise working with a diversified portfolio across media, entertainment, retail and hospitality, as well as both regional and national brands. She honed her skills managing publicity for several NBC and CBS daytime television shows. While in New York City, she coordinated one of her biggest career events thus far; a one-hour live episode taping in the middle of Times Square, jumbotrons included. Robbin eventually made her way to the west coast, building a reputation as a passionate advocate for Southern California's growing restaurant and hospitality community. In time, she oversaw dozens of clients accounts, including several award-winning chefs and Michelin-starred restaurants.
Now stationed in both Boston and New York City, Robbin continues to immerse herself in both city’s growing business communities, simultaneously, developing relationships with top-tiered journalists and social media influencers. After seeing a growing trend in influencer marketing, she launched the region’s first influencer management firm, representing some of the city’s top talent, and securing partnerships with brands such as Walmart, Sperry, Dunkin Donuts, NIVEA, Free People, Home Goods, and more. And, alongside her team, RPR handles the influencer campaign strategy and execution for clients across several different industries.
When not at work, Robbin enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and goldendoodle, all while traveling throughout the New England region & documenting it on her Instagram: @robbinmangano.
With a knack for following trends and enthusiasm for sharing the stories behind the brands and personalities, Christina is a valuable member of RPR's team. Her strength in fostering media relationships has led her to secure national coverage with People, Glamour, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, Travel + Leisure, GQ and Architectural Digest, as well as locally in the Boston, San Diego, New York and Los Angeles markets.
Raised in Southern California, Christina first packed her bags for the East Coast to study magazine journalism at Boston University. While in Boston, she realized that she loved the art of pitching journalists & advocating for clients, and therefore made the switch to public relations.
From Boston to LA, Christina's experience during college solidified her interest in the lifestyle/hospitality and entertainment industries. Following graduation, Christina moved to San Diego, where she worked her way up the ranks at a local lifestyle PR firm, eventually overseeing 25 clients that included award-winning restaurants, cutting-edge gyms/fitness brands, and several education and health programs.
After some time, Christina realized she missed city living, and made the cross-country trek back to Boston, where she worked with several of the region's top restaurants, including Yvonne's, RUKA, Alcove, PABU, and more.
When not working, you can find Christina exploring the city’s culinary scene or sweating away those calories at a boxing or spin class. A lover of all things pop culture, Christina can also be found at home catching up on the latest reality show or podcast.
Hayden Cohen joined the RPR team in 2017 and acts as an Account Manager for the RPR Influencer division. With a background in digital marketing, he has a passion for creating meaningful content and bridging the gap between brands and the people who follow them.
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Hayden began his post-graduate career at EMC (now known as Dell EMC), joining their social media marketing team. He assisted with strategically crafting both internal and external campaigns to help promote awareness, knowledge, and enrollment in EMC’s education services. Additionally, Hayden was responsible for the creation and editing of client content, such as newsletters, press releases, social media calendars, and other materials needed for employees, customers, and partners. Realizing he had a passion for consumer and lifestyle brands rather than tech, he joined the RPR team to fully immerse himself in these industries and explore the ever-changing digital marketing landscape.
In his current role as an Account Manager, Hayden wears many different hats. From developing social media campaigns for clients, to growing the firm’s influencer talent management division, Hayden has developed a deep understanding of what brands are looking for in terms of social media and influencer strategy. During his time at RPR, he’s successfully secured partnerships for the RPR influencer roster with nationally recognized brands, such as Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Primark, Talbots, and more.
Between launching and overseeing a client’s social media campaign, to working with clients on vetting appropriate social media influencer talent and securing brand collaborations for RPR's influencers, he's become a seasoned veteran in his time here.
North Shore native Katie Adams joined the RPR team Spring of 2019 as an Account Executive for our Social Media department.
After graduating from Union College in 2016, Katie moved to New York City and began her career in Influencer and Social Media Marketing at Influenster. There, she was responsible for all brand influencer campaigns, as well as influencer events.
Katie later accepted a role at CMD Creative as their Social Media Manager. There, she worked on Drew Barrymore's personal Instagram account, along with three of her brands, developing a social and influencer strategy.
After several years in New York City and missing Boston and the North Shore, Katie moved back the New England to continue her career in digital marketing.
When not working, Katie enjoys hanging out with her family, traveling and fostering rescue dogs.
ACCOUNT COORDINATOR (MEDIA RELATIONS)
Born and raised in Boston, MA, Holly Sampson joined the RPR team as an Account Coordinator during the summer of 2019.
After graduating from the College of Communication at Boston University in 2017, Holly continued living in Boston to explore her love for public relations. Obtaining a full-time brand communications internship at Cone Communications was Holly’s first step in fulfilling this passion. There, she was responsible for a range of projects and tasks such as media monitoring, celebrity seeding programs, cultivating media and influencer relationships, and assisting in developing creative marketing campaigns for clients.
Holly later accepted a role in merchandising at TJX. There, she was given the opportunity to learn critical business strategies used to help businesses grow. At TJX, Holly helped numerous brands succeed on the sales floors of HomeGoods stores across the country.
After over a year and a half at TJX, Holly was thrilled to join the RPR team, where she pursues her love for telling a client’s story through creative digital campaigns and strategies.
When not working, you can find Holly spending time with family and friends in Cape Cod or going for a run along the Boston Harbor.
ACCOUNT COORDINATOR (SOCIAL MEDIA)
Raised in a small town north of Boston, Brooke Patterson joined the RPR team as a Social Media Account Coordinator during the Fall of 2019.
After graduating from Suffolk University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism, Brooke realized being a hard-news journalist wasn’t her end goal and there was more she wanted to explore. She has always loved helping others tell their stories and projecting their own voice in a creative way. So, she decided to continue her education and is now in her final semester of the graduate program at Suffolk, where she is seeking a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication.
With a passion for writing and social media, Brooke spent time as the Marketing & Guest Relations manager at LoveWinQ Lash Bar in Boston. There, she was responsible for overseeing the social media strategy across all media platforms, managing the email marketing program, handling client inquiries, and liaise with strategic partners on events and sponsorships. Brooke also worked closely with former Patriots Cheerleader, Alanna Perry, in developing a marketing and social media strategy for her Boston based fun-fitness studio, Barre Groove
If you catch Brooke on her phone she is likely on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook catching up on the latest trends in pop culture, or there’s a chance she is aimlessly scrolling through positivity quotes, funny memes, or cute animal videos.
As a creative associate & in-house photographer and videographer at RPR, Tom uses his content creation marketing experience to help drive a presence for businesses on social media.
After a degree in Sport Marketing & Management from Endicott College in 2017, Tom’s film career took off with promotional videos for sports teams and travel videos for towns in the North Shore area.
Prior to joining RPR in the Fall of 2019, Tom freelanced for a variety of companies in the Boston and North Shore area including luxury car and real estate clients. Tom brings his understanding of marketing combined with his eye for creativity to the table in his new role here at RPR.
When not filming for someone else, you can always find Tom with a camera in hand filming his own adventures.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER & WEB DEVELOPER
Juan Blanco is an experienced graphic designer and web developer, providing creative and visually attractive solutions to clients in the restaurant, hospitality, health/fitness, educational, real estate, non-profit and media industries.
Juan graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and PR, received a Masters Degree in Graphic Design and Preflight Techniques, and then a second Masters Degree in Web Design & Development Tools.
When not designing and developing modern visuals (logos, branding) and clean, user-friendly websites (or taking new classes/courses to keep learning something new), Juan can be found nurturing his passion for traveling and discovering new places around the world.
